Teenager critical after stabbing in Sydney’s North – Frenchs Forest

A teenager is in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed during a fight in Sydney’s north.
The 17-year-old walked into the Frenchs Forest police station with a friend about 6pm on Saturday night after being knifed in the torso, police said.

He was rushed to Royal North Shore hospital.

Police said the teenager was believed to have been stabbed at a nearby home during a fight.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old man at a home on Rabbett Street. He remains under police guard in hospital.
It is believed the two teenagers knew each other and the stabbing occurred during a function at the home.
A crime scene has been established at the home, and police investigations are continuing.
