St John Senior First Aid Certificate
Simple Instruction is a First Aid and CPR Training course co-provider for Allen’s Training First Aid and CPR on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and caters to the whole North Sydney region. I get asked about the ‘St John’s Senior First Aid certificate’ on a regular basis and does Simple Instruction offer the St John’s Senior first aid certificate. The answer I give my first aid students is that the term senior first aid or Apply first aid is not relevant anymore. The Provide First Aid HLTAID003 is the training course that has superseded both the senior first aid course and the apply first aid course and this changed over 6 years ago.
The next question I get asked is ‘Are my courses Nationally recognised and are they the same as St John’s or Red Cross first aid and CPR training courses’? The response I give is that we train under the auspices of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 and that Simple Instructions training courses are actually a better standard of training because it is hands on and we have instructors who can get the message across. We have a personalised feel that sets us a part from Red Cross and St John and will cater to your needs.
The third question I receive is ‘ Do you offer separate CPR courses OR do you offer the Childcare First Aid course’? We offer the HLTAID001 Provide first aid course and it can be updated each year seperate to the first aid qualification. We offer the Child care first aid course HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting and will come to your child care setting.
